Is this your first attempt to deflect from Ports choke and only talk about other teams crowds?

No, just saw it on the banner as the lovely boys ran out yesterday afternoon and was surprised by it, seems almost, I don't know, made up?

It’s complete bullshit and an embarrassment that we try to claim 97k members - especially when 65k or whatever the actual figure of paid up members is - is actually bloody good

September is a great time of the year for camping and fishing as the weathers great.
Trust me as a Carlton supporter I’ve perfected what to do in September unfortunately.

Marketing department talking themselves up.

As you say 65,000 is a healthy number and claiming 97,000 just looks silly.

My lad asked me how they work out the 97,000 members when it came up on the screen yesterday, I struggled to explain it to him.

Presuming this counts free members they have signed up, 97k is pretty poor.

Yep as far as I know the crows count the “digital we fly as one membership” as a member, even though it’s literally a mailing list.

Means I would be counted twice in that figure too as my email is down for that but my membership is handled by my mate

Some more positive signs last night, some frustrating ones as well but plenty of time now to get them right.

Ball movement was a lot better just needed some more polish inside 50
Jenkins last half of the year has been great, 40+ goals again and a evident improvement in marking and lead up work
Milera continuing his development, particularly his ability to peel off his man and create a contest in the air or on the ground.
Doedee prior to injury capped off a fantastic first year - ice that shoulder young fella

We were trying to come up with a top three for B&F and found it pretty hard.

Think laird probably wins it, even though he’s dropped off a bit in the second half of the year, he’s been the most consistent.

After that it’s tough. Probably crouch, even though he’s missed a lot of footy

Next would be Gibbs - purely for durability and consistency, even though he hasn’t really been a standout.

Next group would be Seedsman Jenkins dodeee Milera

Probably a good reflection of where we are at this year, Milera might be the only player who has improved significantly from last year

I was talking about him to a mate who is a Crows supporter yesterday and he has copped quite a bit of shit this year and a lot of it has been unfair criticism IMO. He has done a hell of a lot better than a lot of other players on that list
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

He does kick a lot of goals year in and year out which is his job but he is soft as sh*t though which is why people pay him out.

I had to have a laugh on the w/end when he got a free against Thompson for holding at the top of the goal square then the sheep came out to play on twitter with all the joe the goose calls. I've never known a player to be told off by the coaching panel for kicking a goal from the goal square!
