I think you're being a bit harsh saying their bottom dozen are very average. No team makes finals with a dozen very average players.

Their top dozen are right up there as the best in the league though (hence why they are bottom half of the eight instead of top four)

Two games out of top 4. Hardly an average team. I think people expect a hell of a lot from Geelong. Sometimes unfairly.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Yet the Crows seemingly don't have 1 average player on their list.... curious?

Who said this?

Anyway, I think our depth is very good. It was more that our top line talent was either very much below form or injured.

Hence why I found it hard to work out who would finish high up in the B&F

I believe you infer it often....last season how many Crows would be All Australian etc.

I'm more curious whether there is any topic, any where on here that you can't try and turn back into a discussion on the Crows?

More a case of straightening up those who criticize other teams, without looking in their own backyard. Take it or leave it.

Last year there were plenty who were all Australian standard.

This year? Laird maybe. Crouch too but he hasn’t played enough games

Great points Mots. Didn’t see any harm in Benny’s comments about geelong until CM came into the discussion with his Crows agenda. Anyone ever seen UK Fan and Carona Man in the same room?

Geelongs depth is poor.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

I was going to say it must be pretty good as they have used more players than any other club (40) but that could be an inditement on the depth chopping and changing trying to find the better players. The ressies are up at the pointy end.
Would have been interesting to see how the big Esava did if he didn't get a season ending injury.
