Kept ringing and sending letters saying I have to switch to NBN because of where I live, they stipulated "at no extra cost" to what I was paying.

Get my new bill, $671, slapped an extra $226 on it for a modem and delivery of said modem.

When I was a young lad I had a car pull me over to tell me I had no tail or brake lights.

The next day after work I took it to an auto-electrician, I said to him "hey mate, can you please tell me what's wrong with my lights?"

He opened my boot, fiddled with some wires, got some sandpaper and scratched a couple of terminals and changed a globe, wullah, they all worked again.

It took him all of about 3 minutes so I said "thanks mate", he replied with "That'll be $45"

"I only asked you to tell me what the problem was, I didn't ask you to fix it" I came back with.

It got a bit ugly as I was just young and a bit dumb on shit like that, he ended up demanding a dollar for the globe to which I scrounged up in 5's and 10's out of my console to which he replied "F*ck off and never come back"

That's what I thought, $10 or $15 I would've got my card out, I told him that I had no money on me.

About every week or two. We are only in the same car on weekends

Similar to Booney, if I’m waiting in the car to pick up my lad from footy training I flick the hazards on to check the lights.
