That last Essendon goal typifies Ports biggest issue for the last 4 years. The work ethic in that passage of play and lack of focus especially when the free was paid on centre wing was comical.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

He has been great in the VFL teaching Draper and as Port have shown it’s hard when you haven’t got a genuine second ruck option on your books. Wouldn’t want him playing every week but a couple of games a year is fine

Easy to get hyped up about a team playing an ordinary opponent, but the Bombers have plenty of talent and should have sped up some decent depth players this season. With JD to come back, who at full fitness can be one of the best players in the game (imho), the future's looking pretty good. Don't rate their coach, but it's clear to see they can be very damaging and list-wise should be stronger again in 2019.
