Love your confidence Daisy lol.
If there's one team that could knock off Richmond it will be the Hawks I reckon. The master tactician must be working overtime at the moment on ways he could possibly dismantle the Tigers, Clarko must have some tricks up his sleeve. I'll be watching Thursday night with great interest.

Geelongs record post bye is shocking. 7 losses in a row i think. Add to that the Richmond first final last year and im not confident going into the first week vs melbourne on the back of the pre finals bye.

So Collingwood lose to WCE & they dont get back to Melbourne until Sunday where as the winner of Syd & GWS don't have to travel anywhere and get an extra days rest essentially than a Collingwood who have the double chance. Not sure why they have gone with the Thursday night game. Play the 2 qualifying finals on Fri & Sat night & the elimination finals Sat & Sun Arvo like it used to be.

Almost unbelievably, this will be the first time Richmond and Hawthorn have played a Final against each other.

Or Collingwood could just win & have the week off.

You reckon the AFL wouldn't love that, as they would then be on the Rich/Hawks/Melb/Geelong side of the draw

Also, instead of having the Sydney game start at the stupid time of 4.20 (local time), have the Perth game as the 'twilight' game (i.e. 2.20 Perth time) and the Sydney game at 7.50 or whatever. Please no twilight games, they suck.

Yeah, I don't get it either, surely there's enough time over the weekend to fit in 4 big games.

Jacob Townsend fractured his ankle on the weekend and Richmond have ruled him out of action until next season.

4 games in the first week.

2 games in the next.

2 games in the next.

Richmond beat someone who won two games in the first 3 weeks.

They won't play Sunday round 1 as then they only get a 6 day break heading into the Saturday night Semi Final.

The AFL were always going to play the 4 games Thursday-Saturday so every team gets a minimum 7 day break leading into week 2.

Ideally the Perth game would have been earlier in the mix, but they can't do a 4pm perth game on a weekday so it forced it to Saturday already, meaning flying home on Sunday was always on the cards for the Pies.

If Kennedy and Darling are up and about, don't think Collingwood have any defenders left to match them. An ex basketball player who has played a handful of games will be standing one of them, good luck!

They were ordinary against Dockers, and although they keep surprising me this year, I think this is easiest game of first week of finals to pick.
