Rance was captain last year, I'm assuming there's some darts and a board with pictures on it involved.

I heard Gary Lyon call it a “legacy” selection. More of a reward for being an 8 time AA I think

This is exactly it & its a good move in my mind. Why does a captain have to be a club captain?

I can see why people get worked up over players getting picked or not but the captain & vc shouldn't matter. Just a reward to players who have excelled over a number of years. I like it.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Says a lot about him really IMO.

I love watching him play, I appreciate that he doesn't get himself in the media etc but he obviously isn't a great leader in any capacity, strange really.

Missed 4 games, and is more of a CHF opposed to the 3 above him.

I think Jack is a lock, averaged 3 goals, 14.2 disposals, 6.2 marks and 2.5 tackles per game.
Brown was great but just a tad shy of the other two with 2.8 gls, 11.2 disp, 4.5 marks and 1.1 tackles per game.
The other two are very close:
Buddy: 3.2 gls, 15.6 disp, 6.9 marks & 2.1 tackles.
Tomahawk: 2.9 gls, 15.7 disp, 7.3 marks & 1.9 tackles.
