Yep, D1/2 get the brownlow night on the 10th ;)

The amount of people that didn't take up their invite to go the the D1/2 night to have their medal presented ended up being almost embarrasing so they just don't do it anymore.

This astounds me.
I remember when I went as a 16-year old winning an Under 17 Medal, some A Grade lads came with and got super pissed, was a top night. Can't believe people didn't go to receive their medal with some people from their club, get a table together (coach, pres, couple of players + partners) and have a top night.

I still think clubs should still be notified who there top couple of vote getters are in each grade or even just the A grade, having an online presentation just doesn't seem right with most other leagues having nights for there medal counts.. I know we have the night for the div 1 & 2 count but there has to be a better way then a PowerPoint presentation

Must've been a 1/2 night, wouldn't wear a tie to the unders medal

Would've been maybe 2008 or 2009 and I reckon it was at Findon

Why would they tell the top four of each club and in turn tell every other player not to bother tuning in?

Unfortunately there's probably no better way Whopper. They had the live count that was dying a natural death.
A formal dinner for each division was on the cards but clubs complain about money as it is
I know some clubs play it on their screen in the clubs rooms with far better banter than filing in and out of HQ function room to a specific time slot

Yes, that's right! The year of the best acceptance speech ever by Gunning from Modbury  (although Luke Harder gave him a run for his money a couple of years back)

It was also the last time they held a dinner on a Monday night after GF's because the Modbury boys won a flag and were on Mad Monday, they were a rabble

I've been given some instructions on how to access the medal counts tonight

Access to videos tonight is pretty easy

Follow this link https://www.dartfish.tv/ChannelHome?CR=p132071

Or type in Dartfish TV and follow the link to Adelaide Footy League

On the Home page under Recent Uploads click on “Adelaide Footy League Best & Fairest Voting” and this will bring up all the files.

Select the video you want to play. You can also share or download the file as well.

Silly me inadvertently booked a chiro appointment tonight, so I hope he doesn't run late
