reckon half the SFL will be there

Why would half the SFL be there? If they wanted to watch this standard of competition, they've got the C Grade GF on this weekend.

After smashing them for 20 years by 200 points a game and telling them "oh theyll be fine in 5 years it will just take a little reshuffling, its all about a family and community day out", it will be a glorious thing to see one of them actually celebrating a premiership on Saturday

Unlike morphett vale or aldinga, but they should be ok in about 5 years from now yea?

Or they could stay at home and watch replays of the Morphies v Aldinga blockbusters.

Might surprise a few on here but the SFL Sunday comp draws a huge crowd on GF day/night, been regularly 2k+ at Happy Valley in recent years, be interesting to see how it goes as a stand alone at Aldinga this Sunday.

Hackham also going for their first flag in god knows how long. If they went to AdFL next year they should be put higher than Div 7

Good luck to both Marion and OSB/Lonsdale this weekend. Great to see both clubs having immediate success away from the SFL.

This flat out won't happen. Have it on very good authority the AdFL won't be accepting any more problem clubs while they still have their own to deal with.

I played against Hackham quite a few years ago in a pre-season game when I was playing for St Paul's / Mawson Lakes. We comfortably beat them in the A's by 8 - 10 goals. And we were in Div 7 that year. Unless they have picked up some quality player's I couldn't see them playing any higher than Div 7.

They did have a half decent team 4-5 years ago that would have flogged Mawson Lakes at any stage over the last 10 years. But they have dropped away dramatically since then.

If Hackman come in to the SAAFL they will be a club who I could see in Div 4 within the first 5-6 years. Similar to Marion.

Same goes for the two playing off in the div 7 GF this week, you guys would've beaten them by similar margins around the same time.

Good luck for Saturday BTW, will Craig Delaney be squeezed back into the team for the big dance or is he injured?
