After the stick TOS took for having players the victim of vicious assaults, who all should have known better well done.

Commiserations to Rosewater, unfortunate victims of circumstance.

RFC back in business the way they are is good for community footy

Rosewater all year were the best team but on the big stage blew it. Salisbury West if the officials had balls and got rid of the trouble makers it could of been them.

Congratulations Tossers.

Strangely, today was the first time I've EVER seen them play.

Gee, they've got some big units in their side

They'll annoy some D5 sides next year.

Same here, I think they are the only club in the AdFL that I have never seen play.

Curious question - if TOS have no clubrooms where have they been celebrating for the last 48 hours?

TOS spent Saturday night back at the new rooms at Waldeck, then along Murray St in Gawler yesterday. Some of the social media work was outstanding :D

Question - when would Salisbury West be provided with an update on their position for next season, and if they'll be allowed to rejoin? Is this something that would have to happen early in the piece, or be dragged out closer to the season next year?

Kind of hard to sign/retain players/coaches/sponsors in the interim if they are in limbo unsure of their future.

*Edit* - also leaves Adelaide Lutheran in a bit of a state of unknown, about whether to prepare for life in D7 or if they're going to stay in D6.

Without intending to be a smart arse they probably should have thought about all this before they left their club captain out on the field to cause intentional harm to the opposition for the entirety of a match whilst being on AAA’s. Can wait till at least November as far as I’m concerned. I think it’s worth 1 year on the sidelines personally.

some fairly big assumptions....

the umps did not report, not give out any cards that game... and from what i've been told (remember only told).. the ump stated that the trinity player "ducked" into the knee....when the incident occured...

Didn't those two umps receive some sort of suspension from that game as well?

Umps would have been shit scared to incriminate on the day, that's the beauty of video, no lies there.
Catch 22, save your life or get suspended from umpiring.

Big assumptions? I have already said that if it was an isolated incident then the knee to the jaw could be argued as negligent. When you throw in all the other incidents then there is clear intent for harm. The umpires were stood down for not taking any action. I’m only assuming what the entire country was after seeing the footage.

Any movements on the coaching front anywhere ? Fitzroys coach staying on? Para hills? I believe the para hills guy has a massive contract. Brahma? Who coached them last year? Will Sals west come back? Does Adelaide Lutheran stay up ?
Back to the creek it is.
