Thad cracks me up

Like you I started watching it a few years back and despite a few giggles, never got back to it for whatever reason. Will try and take another look at some stage.

Finished Animal Kingdom season 3. Yet another gripping season.

Yeah I lost interest pretty quickly. I watched a couple of episodes on the weekend to see if I could get into it, but nope. No dice.

Quite interesting imo. Most of the stories are just sad - both for the victims and the perpetrators. Puts a human face to some of the “monsters” on death row.

They pretty much all deserve to be locked away for a very long time but strengthens my opposition to the death penalty

Most of their sentences have been commuted to life anyway.

The black dude that killed half his family deserves death.

watched this one yesterday... "doesn't remember" yeah sure mate... Cold blooded...

The guy who was classed as mentally retarded and killed the old lady... Not sure why, but when that ep finished i actually had a bit of sympathy for him...Not alot but just some of the things he said at the end

Yeah he was a case where life is more appropriate than death.

Seemed like he got a shock and reacted without thinking.

That is a fantastic documentary (the Vietnam one). An in depth study of how something can go right off the rails, and how the powers that be can persist with it despite popular opposition. The final scenes at the memorial in Washington are quite moving.

If the TV has the Netflix app of course

Some new smart TVs haven't paid the right fee to Netflix and so don't have the app. That's why they are cheaper.

Let me clarify

The 1st TV has Foxtel on it and is primarily used football/rugby, movies and war documentaries - no reality TV is allowed
I thought the 2nd TV was being principally used for reality TV, but no - her boyfriend and her have subscribed to Netflix

Mrs HH3 is paying $4 a month for Amazon Prime.

Considering the amount of gridiron related content, its pretty good. Some good movies on there too.

Now you've got it.
I have since discovered that the boyfriend has it at home and all she needed to do was get the code and they can watch on our TV.
Now I have the code, I can access it here in Sydney which is going to cut one of them out. (Daddy's revenge  )

Agreed, brilliant and at times confronting. Some of the phone calls between presidents and various officialdom were very interesting.

I started watching American Horror Story from the start yesterday while I was bed ridden from Rd 1.

I've only caught one or two of the New Orleans seasons episodes, so thought Id give it a go.

Three episodes down. Not bad.
