The 3 great sides of the modern era have all won interstate consistently and against good teams. It may not mean much if they dont travel interstate but to me it says they are not quite at the level of the very best.
'The fact they havent won interstate against even average teams this year suggests they are vulnerable.
Id love to see us knock them off and put them on a Perth prelim final path. It might be the only way we get a good grand final this year because if it runs to plan Rich v WCE at the G may not be terribly entertaining, Having said that you watch us win and then bloody Collingwood will upset the Eagles and Richmond still wont have to travel
Best case scenario for the Hawks to have a crack at a flag is a Hawks and Pies win this week putting us into a prelim against most likely WCE at the G

Yeah that would be great if your final was interstate.

REB

Yeah I hate it when my team wins 18 out of 22. If we do go on to win the flag I'll definitely look back and be disappointed we couldn't win those four games.

You better pray you dont end up in Perth for a prelim.
Youre not that good and if you do win it you are still no where near the best 3 teams of the last 10 years because you cant win on the road

Clarko has been more vocal in the media this week than I can ever remember. He’s always good to listen to but I think he’s worried.
Just this little black ducks opinion, but I reckon Richmond win easy tomorrow night & then Melbourne send them out in straight sets the week after.

Yep, same feeling here about Clarko and tomorrow’s game. Wouldn’t write the Hawks off the following week If they do get rolled tomorrow though

Gil said the other day he reckons it's a bad look when club openly court players who are looking to change clubs.

Doesn't look as bad as the CEO meeting with a senior coach to talk about the new rules before anyone else gets to hear about them.
