I'm delighted to announce that, at 74, I am now officially engaged to my 69 year old fiancee.
She says we'll marry late next year because it wll take her that long to get ready...

Well, let's just say life doesn't change much with age - you just slow down a bit or lose a bit of stamina.

The amusing bit is that she is Catholic and her only past marriage was to a Japanese guy under Japanese law. So she is toying with approaching the local priest re a traditional Catholic event just for the fun of it, and, even though I'm and atheist, I'll go along with it.

I think I'd be pretty safe undertaking to bring up any progeny of the union as Catholics. ;)
