I do find it annoying and he ain’t one of my players, that he left Brisbane because he wanted to come home and now he is off again. Show some loyalty to Port who probably paid you overs with your first contract so he would choose Port over the Crows.

I understand why Port did it though. His feet are make of chalk.
They gambled and lost. Now North have the upper hand in the trade as he can walk to North in the PSD if they don't trade.

  He won't end up at the PSD. Even if he did, someone else would take him before North. Also, if we offered him 4 years now he would take it. The club doesn't want to & I back them on this one

if his price is ridiculous and his feet are as bad as you say.... maybe he will walk as no one else will touch him?

They don't have to pay him anything but the min in the PSD. Carlton would take him, even Port have a pick before North. Doesn't matter anyway, a deal will be done and we will have 2 first rounders

Yeah okay... It's already been agreed on a first rounder, it's just the remaining bits and pieces to be sorted. But anyway, you can believe that. How is it going to feel that we will get more for Polec than the Crows will get for McGovern if he ends up at Carlton?

Correct... just having a giggle at Port fans claiming that he has bad feet, isn't worth the money that he's been offered or the length of contract... but he's worth a mid first round or he can get stuffed! lol

Take the player out of it, $3 million+ on a 5 year deal with $1 million in his first year. What is he worth then? A million dollar player is worth giving up a first rounder I would have thought.

Yeah, that length of deal is reserved for superstars like Rockliff.
