Found a couple of beers, no idea what they were. Went into the fridge for a few days.
Turns out it was an Amber Ale and bloody delicious.

Ouch.

Just thought the cans would be good over xmas/new year.

Im deciding to now go back into glass bottles and only a few of the brown plastic bottles.

Put down a basic lager with BEH2.

Then Munich Lager, a hop tea Hallertau 15g and then boiled 25g for about 30mins. Did this to 19L. Hoping to get a nice bite, not too dissimilar from the original Stella style.

Bottled this today.
Smells quite nice.
Hopefully 50 bottles of joy!

I've just transplanted my Cascade Hop plant and have some rhizomes left over if anyone wants them. Wasn't great with the cones, but I put that down to where I planted it. They seem to grow better on the south side of the garden, ie. just north of a fence or structure. PM me if you want them, they are free and if you've been thinking of growing hops, this is a chance to have a go. Easy to grow and better as an aromatic hop than as a bittering agent from my experience.

Currently on mex cerveza/canadian blonde (its one or the other) with some cascade hops.

Gonna be a good summer smasher, should it last that long

Can't remember! ;)

Nah mate, turned out a treat, we guess it would have been around 6.0-6.2%.

We added an extra 100g of dextrose which each 100g usually equates to 0.5%. It's advertised as 5.7%.

I've been doing the U Brew it beers for nearly 3 years now, me and a mate every 4 weeks there so we've done around 20 odd of their brews, the Cisco Kid is our go to when we can't decide, would have done this 5 times I think. ( Cisco is their name for Sierra Nevada ).
