AFL 360 - (and other Foxtel footy programs)

Talk on the national game

Also 20 odd years ago, as I recall it, the first way to know each weeks team ins/outs was on the Footy show. Now we have all manner of methods (social media etc) to get that info. In a way the Internet has played its part in killing off what was the newsbreaker of its day.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

It'll go the way the NRL footy show went.

In this climate of...hurry up and offend me so I can sue,
there's no room for these sorts of shows.
Sad that there's so many people without a sense of humour anymore, everyone's so uptight.

I know, just sounded like a song I once heard.

The NRL one used to shit all over the AFL one, and I don't even like NRL.

I don't think so. Eddie owns the production company and I think he'd have sway with the officianado's at Ch9.

I reckon Eddie might try for a shortened, more serious format next year. Sam out, Billy out, Fev out, wanker Shane out.

Agreed. He'll lean toward an 'opposite' of Mick's show in order to attract the serious football audience that doesn't have Foxtel.

Eddie's not dumb he'll produce something if it goes belly up.
