SANFL?
Surely he doesn’t fit into a very tall forward line already?

Ryder rucking, Lycett and Dixon forward, probably pushes young Marshall out of the side.

Westhoff roaming.

Howard, Clurey, Jonas in defence.
PAFC. Forever.

I love the thought of Ryder loafing around the forward line.

Watts?
Surely Marshall is a better option long term than Lycett?

Amber asked "If Ryder is rucking", I agree, I'd think Lycett would be 80/20 rucking and Ryder 20/80.

Ryder could be a 50 goal forward.

Watts? Might get a game if he's lucky.

R.Gray Ryder Wingard
Marshall Dixon One of many

Lycett rucking, Westhoff on the wing/where ever.

Would be the tallest forward line in history if they lined up like that.

You would think clubs have already chatted to his management. He surely doesn’t want to rot in the SANFL for another year or two

Well they got pick 2 for Weller last year & Neale is 4 times the player of him. They probably want 2x number 1 picks based on that.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

I don't think he will, he'll be ahead of Watts in the selection order, but it's where he and Dixon line up, they can't both be on the same "line". One deep, one higher up the ground works.

The way the game is played now ( the recent premier had Kennedy, Darling and Vardy/Lycett in the front half ) there's more room for mobile big men in the front half.

Things change, he tried it, it obviously didn't work, there may be illness in the family or other underlying issues behind it, we don't walk in his shoes and we all push the mental health pencil.

Personally, as a recruiter I'd always be wary of recruiting from interstate, 80% of players return home before their career is finished and they'll tell you what you wanna hear to get a spot initially.

He's whipped by his missus and she's making the decision, not him.

They have 3 kids under 3, the youngest are twins, and they have no family support in Melbourne. Easy to see why they want to return to WA.

When there is only a 2 in 18 chance of you getting to a home club you probably shouldn’t be entering the draft. I hope the Cats hold firm.
If he really wanted to get home he would choose Freo

Your maths is terrible Jim, there’s only a 1 in 9 chance of getting to a WA club

Yeah the poor buggers. Doing it so tough. Repay the club who gave you a chance at a lucrative career and lifestyle and head home after two years if need be. Don't up and leave after one year just because you have three kids and your missus wants to go home. Weak as piss if you ask me.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Yeah I agree.
He had 3 kids prior to going there so he should see it out.
If it wasn’t for Geelong where would he be now?
