I can't believe he will fill Adelaide Oval, nor can I believe he'll get enough people in there to make it financially viable.

I agree on the surface looks to be a big overreach. I would've thought maybe Botanic Park or more like the Ent Centre.

Almost a lock to get moved or cancelled altogether I reckon.

I reckon he’ll get enough for it to go ahead.

Here we bloody go: Josh Homme may have well as opened the gates of Hell with this comment that’s sure to get a lot of Melbournites in a twist.

At Queens of the Stone Age’s final Adelaide concert of their Aussie tour on Sunday night, Homme well and truly fired some shots at Melbourne while he was praising the city of Adelaide – to raucous cheering, obviously.

“When I come to Adelaide,” he says, “this is what (Australia) should f**king look like.”

“Melbourne’s a f**king mess. It looks like every other big city in the world.”

We’re not too sure that Homme knows the level of damn near war he may have started, but we’ll be sitting back with our popcorn watching.

Sad news today that Fowler's Live will be closing in December after 15 years another blow to the live music scene after the closure of the Ed Castle Hotel in August.

Sad to see it go. Can't say I liked it as a venue to be honest, you were either "in there" and stinking hot or "out of it" with less than perfect sound.

Still, any venue that closes that is no pokies and live music is a sad day in my books.

Well the story seems to have changed to it's just the current administrators that are leaving the venue and the new admin are saying they will be continuing to use it as a live music venue.
