I hope Windmill Haze runs a big race and can qualify for owner/trainer Ken Gill. Ken has had a lot of health issues recently and was all set to give it away and go fishing. Has box 4 but has a good strike rate from it.

R9 bendigo 7 dum diddee dum

Last start was running into the race nicely and did 6 somersaults. Remarkably, no injury. Trialled since and went good.
Todays a tough ask.
6 looks to be the one to beat and price reflects it.

Dum Diddee Dum in at Bendigo from box 6. This is easier, but i cant see it doing anything here.
3rd run since last friday, he will be getting dizzy

And the final ever meeting at the track.
Moving to a new Murray Bridge facility that GRSA own.

But Murray Bridge is already 18months behind schedule.

the end of an era with the last ever meeting at once was the best track here in SA up until around the 2010 mark onwards.
From here we move to a new establishment being built at Murray Bridge that will have Straight track racing facilites, and this is owned by GRSA, whereas Strath land is owned by harness racing. Murray Bridge is already close to 18months behind schedule and allegedly there is an approximately 8 week break between todays meeting and Murray Bridge starting up.....
anyway that aside lets see if we can send Strath away in fine style.

Race 1 - 319m
Restricted field here with a few 1st starters which need monitoring on the betting markets. However with the 8 going up short, id suggest its trialled here in ok time. Of the others I fancy the red, Max Potion $5/$1.62 on a 1 x 5 stake, looks very well placed down on the rails.

Race 2 - 319 - mix 3/4/5
down to a field of 6 with the scratchings of the 6,7.
not much to see here really, the market has this race sorted.
2 - leads and wins.
4 - In april this went close to breaking the 416m track record. suited by the scratchings, will be moderate away and charge home.
1 - has a super T/D record and boxed to finish 2nd/3rd.
8 - non winner, but scratchings inside it, give it plenty of room.
2-4-1-8

race 3 - 416m for the Grade 6
4 - it only has to handle this draw on the bend start to win this.
race 4 - 416m grade 6
I think the market is wrong here.
2 - Flown Away is drawn ideally down there on the rails, and it should make the most of this spot to run top 3 comfortably. $7/$1.90. again on a 1 x 5
the 7 is $1.85, it looks the leader, can very well win, but is terrible price.

race 5
416m - grade 5
1 - Loves the draw, and loves running a place here, so play it the place.
2 - I thought was disappointing on Tuesday and prepared to risk it.
3 - jumped nicely, tired going through T3/T4 and then bumped in the straight, this is easier, and I think this will be finish.
8 - the $2 fav, I doubt its been here before, and its turned its head before.....I cant touch it, but on its best form it leads and wins by 13L

Race 6 - 536m OPEN
some early pace here, I think the 1 will be able to position close and handy to the lead on T1 and be right in the finish
6 - also if drifts out to the $10 mark is on to perhaps look at a small 1 x 3 stake, this went super last start.

Race 7 - 536m 4/5
only 2 hopes here, well only 1 I feel and that is the 2, it should be winning here. the danger is the 3.

race 8 - Cup
lots of movement via the Ubet market.
I can see the Defending Champion from box 1 punching through on T1 and perhaps even holding the other quick beginners out, if so, game over.
the other runner that has now got out to juicy odds, is the 2. it will be moderate away, but if the early pace is shown from those that can jump, then there could be carnage at T1, this showed terrific track sense on Tuesday. well worth an ew gamble and may get out to $20+

Race 9 - 536m grade 6
6 - dyna lenae - $3.60 - small field suits the slow out run on type style here.

race 10 - 319m grade 6
2 - short but sweet

race 11 - 319m grade 5
3 dog race, 2,7,8
I sense the 2 leads.
8 - can handle the box and has the times on the board to be competitive, but a fraction unders at $3.50
7 - looks a good place chance.
the last 3 races are quite underwhelming on what otherwise is a good meeting!
