Pope just killed off Zampa's shield career for a while. He just does not take enough wickets in four day cricket. Pope is a wicket taker, he has always been bit more expensive, but the positives out weigh the negatives for sure.

Only a 39 run last wicket partnership this time, not too bad for us!

Be only one down at Stumps and would have been a good day, be 5 down and will end up losing the match!

Any 7fa is a great effort and well done to Pope. Was a few half trackers amongst that lot though.

Harris will be next in line I think TC

People need to calm down on the ‘Pope in the test team’ theme, he has played 1.5 Shield games so far

Agree re Pope. Got few wickets caught to terrible shots to half trackers, typical spinners wickets.

And thought couple of the LBW decisions were dubious.

Typical media getting way ahead of themselves and putting undue pressure on young players.

the kid can bowl! he has alot of upside and will play for us i believe but not yet. i think in the next year or 2 he will be looked at for higher honors with Aus A and then i think when Gaz slows it down he will be picked. he has leap frogged most others now though i would have thought. lets just hope he doesn't leave.

on another note it was good to hear that shane warne pro Ferg to be re picked.
