Well you do appear to have Jon Pogas in that list twice - on 4 pts and 1 pt?

Maybe it's a comp organised between those clubs only, bit like what SMI, OTH, EP etc did a few years ago?

Usually the top 4 from each comp for the Country Living Homes Cup ran by SAMCA.

Perhaps Angle Vale and Dublin declined?

Look forward to seeing Eyre Royals this weekend and knocking Keylocks head off with some vicious bumpers.. we will get a better idea of how we are placed after this game, but it appears i'll be missing my two best bowlers, and my opening batsman so will certainly be a challenge.

For those playing along at home..

Keylock entered the fray at about 5/70 after i'd removed the first hack.. couple of closely watched balls, then fired in a well directed bumper that Keylock swatted at only managing to get the end of the bat and see it trickle out to gully lol.. no idea this spud.

On 3, Keylock decided to take the game back up to me, and punched a ball straight down the throat of mid on - dropped.
On 5, couple overs later, changed my angles, found the edge of Keylock, straight into the waiting gloves of the keeper - dropped.

Dropped again a couple more times, one tough C&B, one sitter on the mid wicket boundary as he made his way to 50 off about 500 balls.

Then I thought I had my man.. drew the lofted straight drive, straight down the throat of the long off fielder... yup you guessed it - dropped.. Worse though, as he dropped it he pushed it up and over the boundary for 6.

Keylock a single, number 11 Quick slog sweep for 4, took 13 off my overs and my figures ruined and Keylock a pivotal innings and incredibly boring to watch to put Eyre Royals in the box seat.

Talks up there will be multiple, delivers one!!

On 3, Keylock decided to take the game back up to me, and punched a ball straight down the throat of mid on - dropped. Smoked it!!
On 5, couple overs later, changed my angles, found the edge of Keylock, straight into the waiting gloves of the keeper - dropped. Yeah, you finally turned one, only one for the day

Dropped again a couple more times, one tough C&B, one sitter on the mid wicket boundary as he made his way to 50 off about 500 balls. About right

Then I thought I had my man.. drew the lofted straight drive, straight down the throat of the long off fielder... yup you guessed it - dropped.. Worse though, as he dropped it he pushed it up and over the boundary for 6. This was the best, right in front of our lads too

don't know about box seat, if Channa keeps batting like he has tourettes it could be over quickly.

In tears!!! Forgot to mention with three balls left in the day I should have had you, drew the loose cut shot straight at gully.... Grassed - man that would have topped the day nicely.

Was captains orders ;)

Told him to come out, pick his ball and have a crack - if he could peel off a quick 30 or 40 and get the total below 100 before stumps that would be a win for us, and better than dead batting ourselves into a hole. 8)

You're right though, if he winds up and gets going could be quite entertaining. Lucky Eyre Sports Park is the size of Adelaide Oval or we would've been 0/80 at stumps :P

Dyl Mac taking the piss against the strongest bowling attack we've seen for some time.

Virginia keep getting the job done with the same line up for the past decade, Adam Colbourne still as solid as with the stick.

Westies can pick anyone in their side and they still manage to win, they'd have a good internal against their D Grade though.

Parafield Gardens' Brendan McConnell is tearing Grade 1 a new one with the ball, he would've been paying $201 to win the bowling trophy pre-season, his old man could bat.

How good are the all-rounder stocks in the PDCA? Could field a team of them just about for the SAMCA Cup.

Grade 2, I'm not even going there, the last round will be as hum-dinger, you'll either be hosting a final or being relegated, Eyre Royals to be the sleeping giant for mine though.
