Doing bit of reading of the playing conditions today
Well at last the saca is using the Duckworth–Lewis method for 1st grade one day games
and the 20/20 1st and 2nd grade so what happened in last season will not happen again
I still think the Saca should use the Duckworth–Lewis method in every grade one day and 20/20 games in my view to make it fair

What happened last season? I thought they'd been using Duckworth Lewis in A Grade for ages

Is the expectation that the shield players will be available for day 2 of this round? I would expect the batters to be allowed to play, the bowlers probably not?

Starts Friday Nov 16. So Shield players should be ok to play.

Some teams have named them on My Cricket, but you don't really need to, as can just add them in the following week, wait and see if bowling/batting and make the call then.

I believe the rule these days around slash players is if you name them you can slash them for whoever (but obviously that swap is set in stone) if you dont name them you can still slash them in the next week but it must be a like for like slash (eg. Batsmen for a batsmen)

What happens if you name a player for week 2, then SACA say they aren't allowed to play that game - are you able to replace them with the week 1 player?

SACA players can be slashed in and out as they wish, they have total control. So if you name a slash player for next week and SACA pull him out, the slash is just cancelled.

Likewise, if you don't name any slash players, but SACA agree the player can play, you can choose a similar player to slash.

They did!

All out quickly and the other team made the runs in 6 overs. Game over. So was a good hour of cricket

One more round to play on the one day competition

Kens 5-0
Sturt 4-0
Glen 4-1
TTG 3-1
Uni 3-2
WT 2-3
ET 2-3
Adel 2-3
ND 2-3
Port 1-3
SD 1-3
Wood 1-3
Pros 0-5

Only a top four this year. TTG vs Sturt massive. Could open the door for others if Sturt wins. Uni vs West Torrens huge too.

Round 6 (Sat Dec 1)
Prospect  v  Adelaide
West Torrens  v  University
Southern District  v  East Torrens
Tea Tree Gully  v  Sturt
Glenelg  v  Port Adelaide
Northern Districts  v  Woodville
Kensington BYE

So one game to go and don't think SACA have decided how finals will be decided?? Have to be on point ratio percentage now.

So if WT beat Uni, the four is set, as teams with 3 wins 2 losses, will get in ahead of teams with 3 wins and 3 losses, so TTG cant miss out.

I heard that a bowler got hit on the head on the weekend and wasn't in a very good way, I'm pretty sure it was from an A Grade game too, possibly the Prospect vs Southern game? Does anyone else know anything about it?
