Shocking ride on Veerry Ellegant

Can’t blame the ride. The horse looked like it was on another planet the entire trip. Did that on a Saturday too.

I was disappointed with myself in the winners lounge, spent too much time discussing the race, talking to the jockey, watching the interview and having photo's taken, I only managed 6 Boags Premiums in the half an hour we were in the lounge, 3 down from a PB.

Certainly made up for it as the day progressed.

I was wondering how long you get in the winners lounge.

Is it until the running of the next race only?

A few years back after our horse won on magic millions day, walked out of the lounge to watch the next race and our trainer won again, he told us the owners weren't there so told us to go back in to the lounge and double up :)
