On sunday at the Wheatsheaf

Junior are supporting the album release of Greg Arnolds (things of stone and wood) new band.

Been donkeys since Ive seen Junior. Prior to Junior they were Greasy Spoon and were a cover band that regularly played shennanigans/new york bar and grill. Their own stuff is more folk based, but still produce catchy tunes
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

The Offspring were so loud their sound system blew up at last night's Adelaide concert.

So, The Offspring kicked off their Aussie tour last night at Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide and the '90s punk nostalgia was so strong they blew up the sound system meaning the encore was cut short.

"Adelaide you rock so hard you blew up the sound system," the band joked onstage.

A reviewer for The Music confirmed there was a 10-minute delay before the band played one final song.

Still bloody spewing I missed out in the concert, initially tickets sold out very quickly. Saw a few videos of it from people I know that made me jealous and they had a memorable setlist too by the looks.

Dropkick Murphy's tonight at HQ, absolutely brilliant gig. Top setlist, they did Famous for Nothing, probably my favourite song, Bar Room Hero and the big one, Tessie! Can't believe they played it, seeing it live is for me, incredible.

The best gig I've been to in recent times, even got to quickly meet and have a photo with lead singer Ken Casey as he hung around to meet people and have photos with after the gig.

Yep, brilliant show. No such thing as a bad Dropkick Murphy’s show. Was standing to the side of the stage and watched Tim Brennan move seamlessly between guitar and accordion, damn the guy’s good.

Staying in Murray Bridge this weekend, getting the bus over to Mannum for Sounds by the River.

Only really going for The Living End but also get Richard Clapton, Diesel, Joan Jet and the Blackhearts and Jimmy Barnes. Couple of long time performers in Clapton and Joan Jet who whilst I'm not going out of my way for it will at least be something to say I've seen them.

Forecast was for 40° on the weekend, come back down to a much more palatable 33° now. Will need plenty of the Bushman's spray though I think!
