1-Finch
2- Renshaw (If Harris tons up today he will be in)
3- Uzzie
4- S Marsh
5 - Travy
6- M Marsh
7- Paine
8- Cummins
9- Starc
10- Hazelwood
11- Lyon

Reserve Bat- Handscomb
Reserve Bowler- Tremain

I'll go
Finch
Khawaja
S. Marsh
Handscomb
Head
M. Marsh
Paine
Cummins
Starc
Hazlewood
Lyon

Batsman to consider- Doolan, Harris, Hughes (Wade going well for Tasmania aswell). Renshaw out of contention I reckon, Maxwell definitely is now too.
Interesting to see if they retain Labuschagne
Also, think they might look at Marcus Stoinis as an allrounder if Marsh struggles.
Bowlers to consider, (just having a look at who is out there) Tremain, Bird, Worrall, Boland?
What becomes of the trio Neser, Doggett and Holland? Just dumped from the recent test squad?

Lets hope so, never to be seen again, they are trash.
Think you have 4 batsman right and possibly all 6, the 2 in doubt for me are Head and Handscombe, not sure who they would be replaced with, its a lottery

Personally I would go (not that the selectors will)

Harris
Finch
Khawaja
S.Marsh (in a perfect world SMarsh bats at 5 hopefully away from the new swinging ball)
Head (based on potential but needs runs)
M.Marsh
Carey ( it will be Paine but I believe Carey is the future, Wade is the inform batting keeper)
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Hazelwood

Why the lack of love around for Head? In the UAE he was our third leading run scorer behind Uzzie & Finch.. and everyone knows how difficult it can be over there.

If they discarded him after two tests I’d be pretty disappointed.

Certainly failed in the T20 and ODI stuff but that’s a completely different ball game.

I am massive Head fan and have him in my eleven.* Use to bounce the bastard when I used to look after him as a 5-11 year old at the Craigmore YMCA Vacation Care. He used to smash me and Dean Liddicoat every where.

I think he has a lot of potential which realistically is what he has been selected on as he has a very moderate first class average of 36 with a history of not being able to go on a make big scores. Unfortunately he couldn't go on with his 76 at test level which reinforces that attitude.

His ODI form here was horrendous which immediately has selectors thinking he could be out of form.

Just trying to think like the selectors and I think if he fails in the first couple of tests he could be on the out (especially if he fails and the team loses)

No Asian team has ever won a test series in Australia.

Bad as our top order is, I can't see India sweeping us.

What happens if a game is a draw / wash out? Do you lose?

Sheik Yerbouti wrote:Took 20's India to sweep the tests & 5's the 20/20s

20s to sweep the tests but only 8s to sweep the tests and t20s and ODIs?

They have to win each series, 2-1 / 3-2 / 2-1 in India's favour will do the job :)

They can lose a game, just as long as they win the series. For them to win every game you would want to be taking $51+
