Same, we've got a heap of crap for the dump so we don't have to move it, we did have a big tree topple down the road.

My work always has power issues but none today

Driving down Unley Road this morning the rain was so heavy I could barely see the front of my car yet it was bright sunshine.

Sort of.

Light bulbs were on but dim. Telly worked, radio worked, internet router was up and running. Yet the kettle would not boil, coffee machine would not turn on, hot water was cold (gas HWS, but clearly needs a spark to get going), the stove hobs would not light (again, needs a spark), the shower fan would not turn. The roller door mechanism was having conniptions, beeping and flashing like it was trying to cause seizures, and it refused to lift the roller door.

So the power's not out - but it's not exactly on, either.

Sydney airport was a mess today. Approximately 80 flights disrupted with about half that being cancelled completely. Qantas were using their 747’s between Sydney and Melbourne to clear the backlogs

One spot, in western Sydney, had 55mm of rain in under 1 hour.

Adelaide has had a touch over 300mm this year.
