No such thing as "pretty close", it's either out or not out and in this case I thought with the angle, the fact that it hit him in line with leg was enough to tell me it was missing the stumps.

there is such a thing as pretty close, and that was it ;)

Brilliant innings by Ferguson. Wickets falling around him, trying to bat to save a match, steps up when no one else did
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Shocking decision. Ump should be stood down for it.
There has been some decisions this year from SS umpires that wouldn’t be given by grade 5 Park cricket umpires.

Well deserved

Hope he makes his mark this time. Has the ability I believe but lost his way last time. Confidence went. Looked like a different player.

Can't understand why Richardson is still in. Is having a shocker.

Richo might be the best at mixing cordial, as will be 12th man for sure.

Cant see him playing another Shield game this season, with Sayers back in February and the Dukes ball favouring Winter, he is shot!

Bit of discussion that Head and Handscomb are fighting for the final batting spot in the first test. Any chance that M Marsh misses out? He is NOT (repeat NOT) a Test bowler of ANY substance so that cannot continue to be his leave pass to get a game over guys who can bat.

Thanks God (or is that The Don!) for common sense. Our batting line up is too suspect to start with non-batting specialists at #6.

Batting first, 0/4

NSW attack is shiiiiiiiiit - Abbot, West and Conway the quicks. Surely we can churn out a good score here.

Yep, bit of a knob too.

Interesting the batting line up listed shows Kelvin Smith at 3, Ferg at 5, Winter at 8 and Mennie 10. Interesting if this stays like it.

Siddons has no guts to drop anyone, just re jigs the line up!
