You referring to us TC??

Not sure of the club. Caught the tail end of some chatter about it 'out the back' at the test match. I assumed Prospect
Reasonable assumption.....but continue Eagles [emoji6]

Would have thought Prospect too, paying him same coin as Turley and getting no benefit at all.

Our situation only developed last couple of days, so would not have been discussed at Test Match!!

Our Pom has been told by his Club to return home, wont even let him bat this weekend even though he leaves on Tuesday. Has signs of stress fractures, sore back, typical bowler. Only bowled in one game and pulled up sore. But been a gun batter, such a clean hitter, was going to be a guru in the 20/20's.

Chuck in the news Kelvin Smith been signed by Renegades (awesome for him, but BBL goes for 2 months!), fair to say our batting taken a real hit now. Good opportunity for kids who have been pretty inconsistent all year in 2nd Grade like Carrington and Crouch to get plenty of game time now.

One reason I always hate getting overseas players, would rather develop your own youth!

Jake Winter 164 not out. The Bays having a decent crack at chasing Woodville's 390

When he gets a score he goes big

That's the problem with Grade cricket at the moment. Curators have to stop preparing roads every week, give the bowlers something!

Not taking anything away from Jake, obviously hitting them well, but Woodville currently have one of the weakest bowling line ups going around, and playing on a pitch that yields 400 every week. How many times the last couple of years have they made around 400 and loss or drawn!

We played ET on a dicey pitch and batters were not used to it, but made for entertaining match that went down to the wire. More of this is required, as these batters go up to Shield level (eg Kelvin) and struggle. Jake can't face the short ball but would not have faced one on the weekend, even at Futures level he would struggle as they would attack him there.

Josh Pengelley broke his jaw last night. Got hit by Shaun Tanner of all bowlers. Had hit him for a couple of 6s and Tanner followed up with a bouncer. Snuck under the helmet somehow. Awful news for the kid

Interesting couple of rounds of T20s

Only TTG are 2-0. Everyone else has lost at least one game.

Emerging Redbacks are 3-0. Are they eligible to play finals? Or are they not playing for points?

ER's cant play finals if they make the 4 (so yes to playing for points), fifth team goes in to replace them.

Looking at the club championship points they have the juniors 20/20 comp counting as points :-? , surely not as Uni don't have juniors, unlucky to Uni if they are

Those ladders are all over the shop. Looks like the B, C and D Grade T20s all count for the club championship too (but not the A Grade ones). However none of the T20 ladders are working anyway.

Any player movements to beat the December 31 cut off?
