A good opportunity for our batsman to occupy the crease for a long time and build an innings.

God knows we need the practice.

Good tactic by Harris, wasted 10 minutes and three overs probably. Only need to survive five more minutes now!

Well it saddens me to say that Bumrah ia clearly a better bowler than any of our quicks.

And we have seen two Vics looking all at sea on their home deck. Wow...what about when the non Vics face the music.
This should be a draw but we are talking about Australias batting talent circa 2018 here so lets see what transpires.

The Indians will run through us tomorrow and enforce the follow on.
I can see us losing if we are relying on Finch and the Marsh brothers.

That was an awesome spell of pace bowling by Bumrah AND it was only 3 overs. He did exactly what his captain asked, he tested the openers by bowling good line and length, whilst swinging it and moving it both ways. Something we failed to do.

There is no way Finch can go to England, Jimmy Anderson will have 10 wickets in the book before a match begins.

Bumrah will bowl well on this pitch with his skiddy slingly style. Be doesn't rely on just hitting the deck.

I do feel they will see the same conditions later in the morning once the new ball loses its zip. If Sharma can't get the ball to swing he'll be fodder like the Aussie attack.

Massive morning session coming up though. Whilst I believe Finch is of honest ability only, he's a ripping bloke and will at least give us a contest. Even though he probably shouldn't be selected for the test side, it's not his fault he has been. Hopefully he can survive the early stuff this morning and make a few runs.

This is how I feel about Mitch Marsh, which is why I thought it was poor form crowd booing him the other day. I don’t agree with him in the side and I’m sure we have all posted about it, but booing him is poor form.

Annoyed me more reading comments on FB like “I paid money I’ll boo who ever I want”.
