Yeah booing is rough.
Thought he bowled well.

It'll be interesting to see how the Indians handle expectation.
They expect to win....we'll see.

As per posts on the previous page, anyone else feel confident that Finch can can open in England on those seaming decks against Anderson and co?

Yeah, me neither....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

**** off Finch, guess theres not normally fielders there in white ball cricket. You average 18 as an opener for a reason, how the **** the selectors thought it would be any different at Test level is beyond me. Arrogant pricks that think thery know better than the Victorian selectors who see him all the time
Oh well at least Warner can move back into the opening spot with ease and we'll never hear of Finch again

How did Finch think he was going to ever get that ball through that region stacked with fielders? Dumb, just dumb.

I absolutely agree that Finch is not good enough to play test cricket for Australia, but in defence of the selectors, he only got the gig by default when Matt Renshaw got poleaxed while fielding at short leg against Pakistan. Since then, noone has played well enough to replace him.

Australia’s inability to bat will be what saves this pitch getting a poor rating haha

And we have seen two Vics looking all at sea on their home deck. Wow...what about when the non Vics face the music.
This should be a draw but we are talking about Australias batting talent circa 2018 here so lets see what transpires.

Love watching Bumrah bowl. Cant recall an Indian quick I've enjoyed watching more than him.

Cant help but liken him to Malcolm Marshall with his style of delivery... skiddish making his bouncer lethal as it comes on quicker than anticipated.

These two (khawaja and s marsh) are the only batsmen in Australia (not just this selected team) who are capable of scoring a Test century. Nows the best time ever to do it.

Agree, more so Usman than Snick. Our batters have neither the technique nor temperament to play an innings long enough to post 3 figures.

If the aussies get rolled quick, will India bat again just to wear the bowlers out that little bit more, or look to wrap up the match as soon as possible so they have more rest time before Sydney?

Wouldn't mind seeing that side on dismissal of Khawaja again, Jadeja's front foot must've been very close.
