Mexican West End Draught [emoji6]

Wandered out a couple of times pre Xmas and all the youngsters were drinking stubbies of WED.
When did they make a comeback amongst the young lads?

There were a group of young lads wearing their sisters jeans drinking it......... just didn't look right

Mate it never went out so no need for it to make a comeback!

Wearing them homo pants is a total other issue.

Oh that’s right you need to be politically correct on here now don’t you to please everyone, wearing them ‘new fashionable pants’

You were right the first time about the pants. ;)
If you are 6 foot plus there is no reason EVER to roll up your pants.

Tried this on a recent trip to Melbourne.

Could only describe the taste as "rather queer and a bit fruity"...

Goes ok, the Furphy.

The addition of the Furphy can, the Pale Ale can and the Pirate Life range in cans has given festivals/outdoor events some decent options to the Draught/VB of old.

I’ve gone full circle.
Tried the craft beers and whilst I have found some I like I’m back on the Carlton Draught(actually I never stopped with these), Melbourne Bitter(only in stubbies) and WED(same again only in stubbies).
Original and the best.

I like Furphy but can only seem to drink 3-4 or them and don't seem to like them as a session sort of beer.

Mind you for one of the first times in my life I got sick of beer over the NY period.

But it's summer!

I'm the same with Furphy, had 3 imperial pints of it a few weeks ago and had to switch.

x3.

I've found them good if I'm the designated driver, just take 3 or 4 and you don't feel like you want 5 and 6 on the back of them.
