Too busy batting for himself these days. Kohli’s dismissal was caused by Dhoni batting for red ink

Been a fan of Lyon since day 1 but i have never seen 10 overs from anybody less likely to take a wicket in a ODI
Same around the wicket negative bowling ball after ball after ball with the only intent to try to minimize run scoring
For Australia to have any hope of returning to the top they need their spinners to bowl aggressively in search of wickets.
The Indians just picked him at 6 rpo taking zero risks

Because he doesn't worry about the scoreboard, he bats time knowing he'll make runs.

I think what you meant to say was he doesnt care because hes the most selfish cricketer in wolrd cricket and looks after his average

Thought of this discussion while surfing twitter yesterday, @sirswampthing is the go to handle for anything stats related.

I think it would be fairer to have not outs vs runs and strike rate, if you're striking at above 85 and getting not outs you are doing something pretty good.

If he hadn't played an ODI since 2010, wasn't that telling the selectors something?

We don't want Cinderella stories in our national side, we want victories and competitiveness.
