Oh and the 2 Snittys and a jug for $40 at the seacliff (wasn’t West End tho :( )

Should be in the things I dont understand thread, but I dont understand people that live in Adelaide going to a caravan park int he same city for a holiday

Heaps of people do it, my parents are classic offenders, live at Glenelg and go to Kingston Park caravan park for a week!

A work colleague lives at Goodwood and went to Tennyson for a holiday, I asked him upon his return how long did it take him to adjust to the time zones.

He actually drove home each morning to walk his dogs.

To be fair, Tennyson beach is probably the best in Adelaide.

If you think about it, if you've never experienced it before, how is it any different from going anywhere else in Australia?

I live at Plympton and often stay at West Beach caravan park.
Takes me longer to pack the car than it does to get there.

I'm with you. It does seem a bit redundant. But some people might rather driving half an hour and end up in a caravan park, opposed to driving 3 or 4 hours and ending up in a caravan park.

Not long after I split up a few years ago the place where I was living was always as hot AF so one weekend the kids and I stayed at the Bolivar caravan park, their air-con units were freezing and we pretty much lived in the pool otherwise, would do it again.
