HFL Division 1 (Central)

Talk on any country footy league or club from the SA Country area

Well one things for sure, Hahndorf would be around the mark if not the strongest sides in country footy SA at the moment. Going to be very hard to beat for a few years!

Honestly think it’s good for the Comp, set the bar high, other teams try to keep up and strengthens the league as a whole.

I’m unsure if I’d be calling contracted players to another club as ins. That’s my mail anyway.

Modbury Football Club are looking for a trial game on the weekend of 16 March 2018, happy to travel as it is unlikely that our ground will be available by that time.

Ideally, would love to have A and B grade trial with under 18's optional.

The fact they didn’t make the country granny the hfl knows they’ll need to pick up some decent reinforcements. Looks like they’re using them well

Usually the team going up to Div 1 gets the maximum points.

Correct - Nairne will be allocated 15 points, and they will need every one of them as they were a long way off the pace in Div 2 in 2018.

I don't think Echunga got full points when they came up & I think Lofty got full points when they got relegated that year. Was the points system altered after that

What’s the chances of Nairne asking for extra points with all the players they have apparently signed.

Rumour has it that they’ve been given points in the early to mid 20’s. That’s what I was told yesterday anyway, but ridiculous if true

Thought it was a bit outlandish. Also hearing from Hahndorf might have picked up more Than just Cheney from the crows and they could be getting looked into
