Not in the test squad though
70 odd now. Good to see someone making runs.

97* at dinner

Kurtis Patterson averages 41 at First class level. He has a higher first class average than Handscomb, Burns, Shaun Marsh, Mitch Marsh, Labuschagne, Renshaw and Finch. Why isn't he in the test squad?

Finally the selectors are listening to me. About time.

Now watch Patterson stuff up given that I have been his biggest supporter.[/quote]I'd love to see Patterson go well to prove a point and because you just know if he doesn't score runs from the outset you just know the selectors will be busting their necks to get the Marsh boys back in.

Agree with this totally. The batting order with Pucovski instead of Burns was too young and inexperienced, have to play Burns. The young lad is not ready yet.

Why play our best batsman at 10?

I wonder if Wade gets added to the test squad on the back of last night's T20 innings?

I’m not a Wade fan but he has made runs in several formats unlike Labachagne or Renshaw.

Burns has to play surely as does Pattinson now.

The Head decision is ridiculous. Try cement your spot in the team first.
Usman or Lyon are the obvious choices.

Yeah, hardly anyone knocking the door down for the role.

Lyon must be very introverted or they are worried about the old captains curse of not bowling yourself enough.

From the outside, Lyon is the obvious choice.
Head needs to make a ton first before being VC.

My issue with picking Wade is playing a 'keeper purely as a batsman and having him running around in the field. Very bad look for our side, we already look ordinary.

One would think, you'd rather a spinner than a seamer.

Who'd be your top 3 captains ever?

I didn’t really see Greg Chappell as I was too young but I couldn’t go past AB as number 1.
Next would be Taylor followed by Ponting.

I liked Steve Waugh but didn’t rate his captaincy at times.
