Didn't we unearth Border and Rodney Hogg that series?

Hogg played all 6 (I think) and Border played the last 3 (I think).

Two of these guys made Double Centuries as Test cricketers.
But yes, the era of WSC was the only other time that we were close to being at this low level now. But back then we were fielding two international line-ups.

Just once I would like to see Starc NOT showing displeasure at the bowling crease. Shows a mindset of some one who loses focus far too easily.

I reckon he bowls better around the wicket where there's some more scuffing, he never looks comfortable over the wicket.

Watching cricket on 7 now.
How big a dickhead is Damien Fleming?
He talks about playing for Australia like he played 150 tests.

Don’t mind the other commentators but Fleming can nick off.

He has bowled some absolute trash again today. Just give Cummins the new rock

Time to ship Starc off, very rarely knocks the top order over and picks up cheap wickets with the tail enders

No but we are doing what we should be and playing how we should be. Lyon has been right on the money, Cummins hitting good areas and Richardson has had an outstanding start.

One thing that irks me is having mid on back when Lyon is bowling giving them the single. Keep the fielder up and save the single!

Agreed. Will be a liability England unless we're on top from day dot which is unlikely.

Australia will clean sweep a very ordinary Sri Lanka (as they should) and the media will reappoint them to ‘Champions’, tomorrows headlines will already be all about Richerdson the next Allan Donald or some shit like that.

Starc back to looking dangerous, against blokes who aren't sure which end of the bat to hold.
