Same here. Last time I saw the father in law he said..... why are you still playing cricket? Simple, I enjoy it. The same reason I umpire a bit of footy, and have a hit of golf when I can.
There are mornings its hard to get out of bed, but I be bloody bored if I didn't do something.
I have a plan for when full contact sports not viable. My goal is 5 more years of gridiron (3 more SA reps), and then play baseball (thinking about winter ball this year) and then motorsport once my body's wrecked. If possible I'll get into racing Hyundai Excels.
Mrs HH3 wouldn't be disappointed if I quit gridiron today. She sees the aftermath on a Sunday.
