Don't have a good point guard to make the smart plays.

That has stood out like dog's balls all season as much as I love Sobey he's not a natural PG and that shows in crunch time.

We just don’t seem to have anyone who can calm things down. We had the lead and Sobey had just drawn a good Melbourne offensive foul and instead of milking the clock a little and taking our time we rush it down court and turn it over.

In some surprising news the 36ers have announced they've already re-signed import Jacob Wiley for next season.

http://nbl.com.au/news/article/jacob-wi ... ider-36ers

I would've thought they might think about looking for an upgrade but I guess it's better the devil you know look at Ronald Roberts last season and he's happy here and seems to get along well with everyone so if the price is right maybe it makes sense. I just hope he's able to improve on his inconsistency next season.

Of the local players who is off contract?

See Nathan Sobey and his wife announced yesterday they are expecting a child before next season so I'd guess he'd be looking for some long term security and being a country Victorian could be thrown the kitchen sink.
