Plenty of us are in business, how many of your customers pay on 30 days EOM and how many of your accounts do you pay on 30 days EOM? In my industry 45 days is normal, 60 days is accepted, 75 you get on the phone, 90 you're nervous.

Spot on, I read a report recently that the average invoice is paid on 62nd day in the current environment, and that covered all industries including ones who pay COD and 7 days so if you are on a 30day EOM Id say average would be 70+. SA government pay 90 days for big jobs.

Im guessing the Whyalla businesses just thought cause he was a billionaire they would get paid quickly.

In a "smaller" regional city you would probably find accounts are managed more closely, people ring people not just one accounts team calling another and running into another road block.
The SA government is a fricken disgrace in paying bills. Easily 90+ days.

A lot of our clients run "Deferred Payment" arrangements, but usually against individually negotiated high volume Orders

Former coach, Bickley? Former politician could be anyone. Maybe Weatherall regrets giving Port so much money in handouts

One of Rucci's problems is he gets all his info off Social media and adds all the crap up to make up his stories. He's a poor journalist left to his own devices.

He's plugging away at something and pushing it but honestly I haven't heard a thing about it anywhere else.

Just looking for a beat up about something most probably.

Ok so now Port have had a meeting with a broadcaster about how their players are being treated in that stations media and want apologies. He said it is being orchestrated by former Crows players/coaches at best and the Crows themselves at worst.

Rucci must be bored...

Do the players need to fill in a ‘hurt feelings report’?

Clearly he is trying to find anything to talk about just to pass the time away

His piece on Ports Captain " Members have delivered a powerful message" with regards to opposition of co captains is an assertion based on 200 (not a typo) members feelings at a meeting on Friday.

Its his view . When he reads this on here, he may well argue that those members were representative of Port members as a whole.

Having to make up stories as a print journalist is hard enough without having to invent stories as well for radio.

John Cahill got it right.

Must admit Ive been seriously surprised by how important the 1 Captain issue is with so many Port supporters. Heaps of people talking about handing in their membership if the club breaks with tradition. I understand the want of many to keep in line with a proud history, and Ive always personally been a fan of just the 1 skipper at a club, but at the end of the day support the club and if they decide co-captains is in their best interest (why else would they do it?) then surely you just go with it?

Kind of funny they talk about tradition when most have only been members for the last half dozen years.
