Perfect. Haven't forgotten about V, just trying to get the higher leagues sorted first.

Here is the final seeded list for Division V this season. In this division we have some perpetual also-rans and plenty of brand new shiny newbies rolling off the SuperCoach assembly line. We only had twelve genuine sides for this league so I put in six 'all club' sides which will be set and forget options. The sides included match the teams that the genuine coaches barrack for (with apologies to West Coast rules). It will be interesting to see how the teams go against each other. Of the real sides I can't see Heater being beaten in this one although Raging Hooligans might also be a smoky. There are a couple of new guys who if they turn out ok will be going straight up next year. Out of twelve teams four go up but this league isn't for sheep stations.

1 The Hotshots 44941 Heater31
2 Clairespearsss 43992 Claire
3 PORT FOR EVER 42240 Jon
4 Can't Coach This 41643 Morgan
5 Bman's boys 41404 Brendan
6 Raging Hooligans 41250 The Joker
7 twe 41038 The Wonder Elephant
8 Razorbacks 39243 Brett
9 West Coast Wonders 38500 West Coast Rules
10 Adelaide 0 Les Vaches
11 Carlton 0 Carlton
12 Essendon 0 Don
13 Geelong 0 G
14 harryshawks 0 Miss wycbloods
15 Hawthorn 0 May
16 liamscrows 0 Master wycbloods
17 Miminy Crickets 0 Mim
18 Port Adelaide 0 Chokea

Round 2

1 Raging Hooligans 4196
2 PORT FOR EVER 4184
3 harryshawks 4108
4 Bman's boys 4090
5 West Coast Wonders 4081
6 Liamscrows 4023
7 Miminy Crickets 3914
8 Can't Coach This 3881
9 twe 3879
10 Clairespearsss 3784
11 Port Adelaide 3588
12 The Hotshots 3488
13 Geelong 3282
14 Adelaide 3117
15 Hawthorn 2969
16 Carlton 2939
17 Essendon 2632
18 Brettsrazorbacks 2534

With six 'sleepers' in the league Division V is essentially 12 teams playing off for 8 finals places. Already Brettsrazorbacks looks to be one of the 'live' sides that doesn't look like they will be knocking on the door for the eight. Bretty will improve but every year he rolls out too many donuts in round one which means he burns his trades getting his side up to scratch. Anyone who plays the razorbacks over the next month should be able to rack up a percentage booster.

Joker is the clubhouse leader in scoring after the pre-season and any side who can average 2000 a week in this league is probably going to make finals.

7 Liamscrows 1 0 2201 2081 105.77 4

17 Adelaide 0 1 1444 1957 73.79 0
18 Port Adelaide 0 1 1450 2280 63.60 0

wycbloods has made a strong start to Division V this year as his kids are getting suspiciously high scores for young beginners. If this continues this season Liamscrows and harryshawks are both monties to take out a top four spot. One team who might have something to say about this is The Joker's Raging Hooligans who top the ladder after a high scoring win over a virtual side Port Adelaide. The matches against real sides are where it is at though and other sides besides bloods to record a win against a human opponent are The Hotshots who snuck home against the wonder elephants and Clairespearsss who had a solid win against her uncle.

Carlton can't win a game in the real premiership but the all Blues side has managed to secure a sensational upset win over a human opponent to be somehow sitting in 6th spot on the ladder. Congratulations to the wonder elephant for the first Hogg coach to ever lose to a 'automated' team. Still, having Patrick Cripps as your permacaptain is not the worst idea.

While twe can't win a game the same can't be said of the junior wycbloodses and top side Raging Hooligans who look like the teams to advance even at this early stage of the season. Rookie coach Claire has also racked up a couple of wins as has Brendan whose boys are stinking up the place but are still unbeaten on the ladder. PORT FOR NEVER racked up an important win against the West Coast Human while bretts razorbacks and The Hotshots also recorded their first victories of the season. In the virtual showdown Port had a win over the Crows but Morgs has joined twe as a human team that is yet to open their account.

17 Geelong 0 4 6270 7810 80.28 0
18 Adelaide 0 4 5395 7631 70.70 0

In the lower grades of the Hogg junior coaches are making out like bandits. In Division V it is Wycbloods' kids who wreaking havoc as Liam and Harry are both unbeaten and regularly outscoring their opponents both human and automated alike. Standing in their way is Hogg veteran Joker whose Raging Hooligans are sitting pretty unbeaten on top of the ladder.

In the past two weeks a couple of other sides have emerged and clambered into the top eight. PORT FOR NEVER and The West Coast Wanchors have gotten off to a solid start while Can't Coach this has found the manual and snaffled a couple of wins. Bman's boys were B awful in the last round and despite a good start they look pretty wobbly. twe has shaken off the shame of losing to Carlton (embarrassing at any level) and have now recorded back to back victories. All human players have at last one win and low scoring Essendon are the favourites for the spoon at this stage.

17 Geelong 0 5 7767 9684 80.20 0
18 Essendon 0 5 6811 8993 75.74 0

Division V has been rocked by a massive boilover as the 100th ranked team in scoring, Clairespearsss has racked up the highest score in the Hogg this week to roll the previously unbeaten Raging Hooligans. The Hooligans have coughed up top spot on the ladder after young harryshawks continued on their winning ways. Another upset, but perhaps not as big was the fine win by West Coast Wonders who inflicted the first defeat of the season on Liamscrows.

The Wonders and PORT FORNEVER have got to 4-1 to challenge the other top sides with The Hotshots and Can't Coach this also recording wins. I'm still not sure about Clairespearsss but they look a better finalist than Bman's boys who have now failed to score 2000 for several weeks now. The final eight in this league is almost set with Bman and Cant Coach the vulnerable sides with twe and the pearsss the most likely suitors for a top eight spot. Can't have the razorbacks as he will run out of trades in about five weeks.

17 Adelaide 1 6 9026 12319 73.27 4
18 Geelong 0 7 10904 13465 80.98 0

A bit of a ho-hum sort of round in Division V which is essentially a 12 team competition. Of the four 'manned' teams outside of the top eight it's probably hard to make a case for the Crickets and Bman will be lucky to log on all year so it's up to Brettsrazorbacks and the more talented PORT FOR EVER to attempt to break into the top eight. The most significant result of last week was when NEVER where comfortably spanked by the league's top scorer and premiership favourite Raging Hooligans.

The West Coast Wonders put in an impressive display while harry remains unbeaten despite a dip in scoring in recent weeks. The Hotshots and twe took advantage of the razorbacks and NEVER losses to clamber into the top eight but twe might find the loss to unmanned Carlton could come back and haunt them. They need a big scalp to reverse that.

17 Adelaide 1 7 10225 14289 71.56 4
18 Geelong 0 8 12510 15310 81.71 0

The Hawks that are harrys are the unbeaten side but it is Raging Hooligans, West Coast Wonders and Can’t Coach This who are making the headlines in recent weeks. All three sides had powerful victories with Can’t Coach This having the most significant wine having comfortably defeated another top eight contender.

The top eight could already be decided in this one as twe struggles to make up lost ground from the Carlton loss while Brettsrazorbacks lack of scoring probably rules them out from making a significant challenge to the current top eight. Early on it was the wycbloods junior show but despite a solid match from Liamscrows, other sides appear to have overtaken them in scoring in recent weeks.
