How does the club make money from it?
I’d drink more than $50 piss and I’d suggest a lot of others would too.

That's why I said too...

120 tickets at $50 = $6,000, less the $2,000 leaves $4,000..... Silent Auction Items donated, Food lets say $500 - and then the grog say $1,500 - apparently we have some donated or something they are working on $1,500 profit for the night. Turns out we have to drink the grog in the fridges, as the bar gets handed back to the Soccer club we share the facility with soon, so the Pres would rather we drink it than store it!

Getting a pay rise, I know the letter of offer has been drawn up and is with the GM at the moment, the suspense is killing me, he told me Monday that we would get together before the week is out and he had to present my case to Head Office yesterday for approval.

The pay lady has already told me that it's been rubber stamped, just didn't tell me how much.

I get paid monthly, I'm keen to hurry and sign it off as they will backdate from sign off and then we get paid in advance so the first one on effect will be more than what it will be moving ahead.

Been told it will be at least 6 but he said he's aiming for more, I'm hoping for 10.

Having the place to myself for the long weekend - Mrs & Miss C heading back to SA on Friday. Rib Eyes and a bottle of red every night!

Then the following week off to see the Jersey Boys.
