Sayers out injured. Worrall in.

Pope to play. He's young/raw but the best available. Valente out.

McInerney dropped for Smith.

Then someone in for Cooper to bat at 6 - Jake Winter, Brad Davis, John Dalton... anyone. Tom Kelly even.

Also Lehmann to go back to 5, Head and Ferguson 3 & 4.

Apart from that unchanged

Kelly has not even made a 1st Grade century, no chance.

Dalton been horribly out of form all year, century in One day GF very overdue.

Davis and Winter both failed in last Second X1 game.

Not many options.

Signing Patrick Page Jnr to three year deal when only 16 contracts available another Nielsen stuff up!

Bet they stick with the same six, Siddons has too much faith.

And they way he talked about Pope and the Dukes ball, can't see him playing, especially at WACA.

Michael Clarke hadn't made a first grade century when he debuted for NSW

But yeah I can't see them picking Kelly or making any unforced changes because they never do no matter how badly we perform

Agreed. Can't see too many changes unfortunately. Young Capel also worth a mention, he seems to be the only other one from the younger group doing OK, but maybe another season or 2 away from being ready?

Need 2 batters at a minimum.

This is that vicious circle

Team performs badly, local cupboard seems bare. So we go out and get fringe players or older guys from interstate - Wise, Fleming, Dempsey, Lang, Davison, Edmondson, Crosswaite, O'Brien etc. Maybe even an overseas pro Younis Khan, Andy Flower, Johan Botha

Then a few years later we realise that the junk we purchased wasn't any better than the locals we overlooked

So we return to backing our own guys in.

Team performs badly... square one.

Basically we are forever doomed to be propping up the table.

Sad part is that we would've had a shield or two recently if we retained Maxy.

Problem is the coaching at the Emerging Redbacks level - there basically is none!!

Have not had a pace bowling coach for three years - Rob Cassell may come to couple of sessions a year.

So what is Tim Nielsen's plan for next year - to cut the squad from 20 to about 8 or 10. Why? Because does not have the coaches to run it properly.

What a joke and utter disgrace! Maybe instead of paying yourself and the top end such good money, you put it into where it is needed and may help this State going forward.

Jobs for the boys at SACA. Sack Nielsen FFS!

Robins, Worrall and Andrews are in the 12!

Maybe they've decided the season is shot, may as well leave it till end of the year and allow players to play for their careers in the last 3 games?

I reckon there is a chance that we'll play Andrews and Nielsen at 6 and 7 (or 7 and 6) and go with 4 quicks plus Andrews as the spinner.

One batter goes - either Cooper out or Cooper opening and McInerney out.

That is a very good idea seeing the batsman we have a crap and lets be honest the bowlers aren't performing either.

Is there internal problems at the Redbacks that are causing a rift :?
