Last year we averaged about 3-4 holding the ball decisions per game in the 20 A1 games I saw. They had to change the interpretation, but I hope they don't go too far the other way. Players need to be given every opportunity to dispose of the ball once the have gained possession.

HAHAHA very true this is Div 5 amateur football (a long way from Div 1 let alone AFL).

I think the Kookaburras win if they can get it together! seemed to fall away late last year.

Lonsdale started the trial ok on the counter attack but soon as Loveridge rolled his ankle they had trouble getting it past CHF. In the end it was a fair margin in both grades. I don’t miss playing when I watch trial matches in the 30’s.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Anyone see the hope valley v broadview game or hear anything about it? My sons mate went to watch and said it was at div 2 standard. Pretty impressive if so. They also tell me hv beat broadies????? They must be putting it together up there.
