After watching the JLT game with the Saints I think my expectations have been severely depleted... when was the last time a team went from premier to spoon in 3 years?!?

I think we will teeter on the edge of that expectation and I wouldn't be surprised to finish bottom 4 but I expect better.

Never mind Boon, he routinely overrates the Cows every year, perhaps as routinely I underrate them. Somewhere between Boon's prediction and mine is probably where you'll find them.

I don't think Adelaide are better than Collingwood, Richmond, Melbourne or West coast. I think Jacobs in the ruck is a real Achilles heel. I can't see him keeping up with the more mobile ruckmen the other contenders have. He will go ok for a while but he will be worn down to a nub come August. I think centre clearances will be a key so that stat will be one to watch. Sloane aside the crow midfielders are handy rather than brilliant, although the Crouch brothers are certainly a fair chance to approach that mark.

I think the 666 rule suits adelaide so they might get top four where earlier I said I didn't think so. I wouldn't back them to win in Melbourne in September with your money so unless they can finish ahead of three sides I listed above they won't be in the grand final.
