Sounds like he is very fit and wanting to play for Sturt . They were not looking for ex AFL guys with the wrong attitude . Should be a good recruit for Sturt .

@spargo yeah he played an internal last night

Am glad that Timmy is getting another chance with the Tigers. I have a feeling he is going to excel this year, making the $24 000 Glenelg rejected for him a wise investment in a young man with a lot to offer. I just hope he doesn't play his best games against us :D

Unfortunately it leaves us without a forward who could provide that X factor.

When will Connor McLean be fit?
Roy has already said that Neagle and Menzel will spend more time in the midfield.
Our midfield last season was basically T.Schiller.

Connor played a fair bit of magoos last year, should never have happened. Give him a decent crack in the league team and he'll be that forward.

That's his brother that will play half back/ midfield. Jaydyn is a forward.

No idea with our forwards....usually don't have anyone inside our 50 to kick to.
Watch the 10 minute central district football club 2019 preview and Roy does say that Jyden will spend time as a mid.

Goody and Alfie are expected to spend more time up forward this year. We also have Hosko, McKenzie and our new recruit from Port, Michael Ortiz, to provide the 'x-factor' moments. Our forward talls could include McLean and possibly one of our newly recruited rucks/forwards.

Cheers.

It's becoming a cycle.
The more decisions they make which affect the integrity of the SANFL, the more they erode its strength, making it easier to damage the SANFL's integrity.
For example: It would be difficult to see them implementing such a rule before the AFL reserves entered the SANFL. Before that time, integrity still existed in quantities sufficient to keep such a farcical decision from becoming a reality.
Now it seems they can do what they want, because it is "just a reserves competition with a falling standard".
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Not sure South need supporters leaving.
Rather than laying blame on a club , is it not time all clubs stood up and became united and voiced disapproval on some decisions ? I can tell you right now why they wont. Money .

It’s not money it’s fear.

Afl/afl clubs can’t take money away from us. We have contracts in place.

10 years ago they played the same game about the afl licences. If you don’t approve this we will take the licences away.

The licences are gone never to return and we are still shitting ourselves.

It’s inevitable one day we will draw a line in the sand. At this stage It’s just a matter of how much sand we will have left after Olsen Davies KT Chapman are finished.

SANFL is a profitable league in its own right FFS.

But wait theres more. Mid Year draft !! Hows this scenario ? Club x in the SANFL is flying 3 games clear on top after round 9. Halfway there and undefeated. Hawthorn need a ruckman. That's one. Carlton a midfielder. Theres two. Bulldogs need a key defender that makes it three, and to top it off the crows are sitting fourth in the sanfl and draft a key forward that could quite possibly end up playing against club x. Its all going one way folks and its time the powers to be woke up and protected the sanfl before its too late.

Before it's too late? Horse, bolted.

And the stooges at the SANFL have demonstrated for years that whatever allows them the ability to purchase more chardonnay to sip on their big ******* yachts while they wipe the oysters away with their private school ties the better.
PAFC. Forever.

Hate to say it, but we told you so in 2013, that was the time to act, not now.
