Doesn't feel as though cricket in SA has ever pulled in the same direction. State coaches, high performance staff, SACA board, state junior coaches, grade clubs, premier league, 1st XI cricket... all with their own priorities/opinions and blaming everyone else when it goes wrong.

Brilliant post, totally agree with all of this!

Not sure what the answer is though, lots of stubborn people in charge of all of these different areas who all won't budge.

Not sure losing a Grade club next year will solve the problem, that's for sure!

It won't initially if other changes are not made within SACA.

Board members being elected on the ticket of 'all memberships being transferable' shows the voting base have NFI

Not really seeing any progress

Has anyone improved over the last 2 years?

Winter yes.

Maybe Zampa as a white ball player.

Most others stagnated or gone backwards. Not really any young talent emerging that has shown anything at the next level yet. Very worrying.

Head's gone from a shield batsman to a test bat with an average over 50, I call that a fair improvement. Carey has also improved drastically.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Siddons needs to be held responsible for the woeful batting.

Speak to the players and he made them all change their style, these big bat lifts, etc. Doesn't work. If they did not change he would not pick them. Has screwed up many young talent. Made them do the same thru the 19's State squad.

Contracts are there to be broken. Nielsen gave Patrick Page Jnr a 3 year deal, rumours they will pay him out next year as he is way overweight and lost all form, so they can pay Siddons out why they are at it!

Not sure on the Carey thing, I thought he was better last season.

Has anyone had a season above a "B" Grade?

Where do we find a full list of season stats for the team?

Do we keep the same 11 for the next game? It is at Karen Rolton Oval.
