Murranji for mine, shaving 400 metres off his last two starts.

Took it to win in a First 4, fave galloped at the start, was all set til the home stretch when two of mine locked wheels and finished 4th and 5th, F4 paid $1781

FFS
Got slaughtered on the First 4 with Solarsonic bombing the start certainly ruining the majority of my combinations.
Still looking ok when Rate Highly was gonna run into a place until as you said locked wheels FFS
The only horse i didnt have for 3rd was the Slug Corey ODonohue who of course ran 3rd by virtual default FFS

Then today loaded up on the F4 (25k JPot on NSW Tab) on the Len Smith Mile with Soho Tribecca obviously a standout and *(^$## Me it gallops at the start and out of the race FFS
Excuse was that apparently the mobile wasnt going fast enough or some shit and the horse got its head under the gate causing it to gallop
Just add that to the list of 500 other excuses.

It's only gambling when you lose.

I was excited as when I heard Solarsonic out of the race, I had Somedan, Solarsonic or Reva to come 3rd, them three and two others for 3rd and 4th, as you mentioned, Corey Odonoghue couldn't outrun an ass with dragging a tractor generally, the locked wheels f****d everyone up except for him.

I should've just field/fielded 3rd and 4th, I don't like to junx the FIL's horse too much though.

So that will be 1 meeting (tonights GDP ) in SA between Mon Sept 24th and Sat Oct 6th (P Pirie).
How the hell does an industry survive under those circumstances?

I'd think you are closer to it than I, but clearly its not sustainable long term.
And Dogs finish up at Strath on sept 21st. Is that lost revenue to trots?

FIL's trotter resumes tonight at Mildura after a lengthy spell, I'm a bit surprised at the $19 odds as he won the Mildura "Horse of The Year" in 2018 and was in great form up until his last two runs when the driver gave him no chance with poor drives.

Jayden Brewin is in the seat tonight, Race 6, Murranji Track, the odds are scaring me as maybe starting from SR5 he might just ease back into it, I'll chuck him in an exotic though as the FIL is generally a very competitive man and he loves this horse like it's his kid.

He has Shadow Spar in race 5 and although he had some gutsy wins last campaign I think it's make or break for him this time round, 2nd start back but I fear his best is behind him.

He just doesnt have an understanding of racing terminology. And when he uses it, he sounds like someone who isnt involved in the industry, let alone a race broadcaster. He is a good MC, but not when discussing form or calling races. I love it when he says '****' in a call!
