How good is Cripps.
The blokes a machine!

With help from Walsh and hopefully Murphy he’s going to have a very good year.

from what I saw last night, cripps is a dead set gun!!!

And I know Carlton didn't win, but the way they played after qtr time, you would have to take a lot of positives from it...

Thought one of the Carlton small forwards (Gibbons maybe?) showed some good glimpses. As Beef said, Weitering needs to stand up and offer a bit more.

Good crowd and I suspect even better TV ratings.
Most clubs would be envious of that!

Looks like he might have the flu? Playing flat

Or now McGovern is in he dont feel like the main man down there? And playing a role instead

Chuck him in the ruck for a burst
I'd run him off the wing... he is a running machine, can usually hold a mark, he can be the link man... Mackay at FF and McGovern CHF

Kouta style

Definitely didnt look his spritely self

Good to not face palm every 2nd time carlton went near the ball, good signs, new players need to gel too but a lot more reliability in execution

Casbault wouldnt be bad as a back up ruckman too

Petreski seaton looks not up to it imo, garlett bit the same, weitering looks like his mummy and daddy forced him to play footy but now hes a grown up he cant be bothered with it

Couldn’t agree more on P-Seaton and Garlett cost Carlton at least 4 goals tonight.[/quote]It's a good thing Carlton only used pick 6 on P-seaton. Whilst he wasn't good last night, it's early in his career and season so he has some time and he would want to show a bit more than what he did last night.

Unfortunately it was Carlton’s home game which shaved a few of the crowd numbers

If anymore turned up they’d have been watching from outside the ground.

Bloody good crowd in anyone’s numbers!

Was a very good crowd but still probably 4-5k less than what a Richmond home game would have attracted.

Or they could of opened the season at AO and got 41,000 to a Power game.
Probably makes more sense to get double that at the G watching the big clubs ;)

Hope when Port lose to Melbourne that you don't comment that Rozee or Butters look ok or any other positives. Did Carlton win, No? Look better than last year, yes (for 2 quarters). Does that mean they will win more games - who knows after 1 game against a team that would be hoping to win a premiership.

When the only thing you've got to hang your hat on is the crowd you play in front of in a manufactured block buster you've got some real problems.

You've been listening to the little smiley bloke, you've grown to accept being rubbish.

That last line is about Port surely.

The jury is still out on Bolton but I’m pretty sure the jury has delivered their verdict on Cliche’ Kenny.

They show a shot of the Carlton bench, a steward is holding up a big orange piece of corflute with no numbers, no letters, Brian Taylor "It must be a colour thing".

What have we done to deserve this punishment? What?

Sure, if you want to call 10+ wins rubbish then we'll refer to Carlton as "******* shit" then, ok?
