Yep. When you are a povo club like the Dogs you have to do what you can.

Rather be a povo club who’s won a flag in the last 3 years than a “big” club with soooo many members, a multi million dollar training facility & hugely favourable draw commercially, yet haven’t won a final of any sort since 2004 ;)

Even with no success I know my club will still be alive and based in Melbourne in 20 years time unlike a couple other certain clubs

We all know they’re not giving a team to Tassie anytime soon & they won’t let a Melbourne club fold. The AFL want more teams not less.

It's more likely that North, WB and St Kilda will play out of Punt Road than being relocated.

However, North are still likely to play out of Tasmania for some games, perhaps 5 per season.

Gabba looks half empty. Really disappointing crowd the for Lions, massive hype coming into the year with a home season opener against the reigning premiers.

Shit yes. Surely the bottom line will be better. Apart from the blowjob Essendon continually get from the AFL, the other tenants at Docklands have been forever screwed.

We had to get a better deal or we weren’t moving from the MCG. We had the upper hand in negotiations at the time. The other Etihad clubs now get a deal that’s a lot better now and that’s fair enough
