Round 1 - The new, the old and the who?

Talk on the national game

Think we’ll need to see how teams respond in coming weeks. The new rules are playing a big part but we are really seeing the influence that runners played prior to this season. I’m not loving the response from my team today but in the end they break my heart all the time so I’m not shocked. I am loving the footy we’re seeing though even if it’s not pretty in a traditional sense.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Yeah I must have blinked and missed his ability.
I don’t get it.

He's played less than one full season. Yeah, lets write him off.

regards,

REB

No ones writing him off.
Commentators just need to calm their farm with him.
Let him progress without making him out to be some superstar he clearly isn’t yet.

Yeah they sure do.

Looked like a ‘W’, so I’m guessing it’s about what happened during the week, as she is a Carlton player

Could well be the only “W” recorded by Carlton this season.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

Essendon wouldn’t beat an SANFL team currently. Absolutely pathetic start
