Bought a carton on the way home, not sure that will be enough to get me through these two

lol. Apparently it a light shower is happening and he wants to know if that makes the ball slippery . Surely if the SANFL want viewers via Digital Pass he has to go.

Bay player cops a whack high, girl commentating says "I think he'll get a 50 .. Whats it called?"

Legs 24
Bays 28

Rain has arrived. Game could go either way obviously but Bays look alright

All stats relatively even, Grigg with 19 disposals and 2 goals at halftime leading the way. Interesting the SANFL site for all their stats doesn't list free kicks anymore (not that Im looking to complain, we've been lucky a coupla times but overall I think it's been pretty good)

Full marks to Glenelg, they don't wait long into the season till they choke.
Not that I can talk, my team is still 4 points behind them .

On the train home; post game thoughtz:

Scrappy crap football from both sides in the first half. Norwood quicker than Glenelg, often made the loose ball first.

Umps very much on Norwood's side, particularly in second term when several HTB calls for either team resulted in consistent frees for Norwood.

Legs dominated in final term. they might have won by more if they'd have kicked straighter.

Good banter with the Legs fans on the hill and handshakes exchanged after the game; exactly what the SANFL should be.

Pity the sole Norwood wanker who came and stood among the Bays fans after his team had hit the front and started mouthing off. Pity those Bays fans who rose to the bait. The bloke did his best to start a fight but was steered away. Kudos to the sole Norwood fan who came over to apologise on behalf of the rest of the fans, claiming "that's not what we are." We know. Thankyou.

... oh, and the Stout on Coopers hill is 10c cheaper than the draught ale. Hooray for Norwood oval!

Thought we got a coupla lucky ones in the 1st quarter, but both missed out on several after that, especially HTB calls. Just when you think they've decided to pay none for the night, they pull some out that were marginal by comparison.

Good hitout mate, whoever lost was going to be stiff. Wish I could have been on the hill, but great to hear the old SANFL banter and spirit was mostly intact.
